P Busts a Move

Recently P has become a huge fan of the "Freecreditreport.com" commercials--you know the ones that were annoying at first but then became kind of catchy? You know you sing along too, admit it. Anyway, whenever P hears the tunes (on the tv, or more recently on YouTube) she busts a move. She'll stop whatever she is doing and become transfixed...then her hips sway...then she gallops ecstatically in a circle. It's quite amusing. So, here is a video clip of her moves--keep in mind this was recorded aprox. 30 minutes into her YouTube dance marathon. She's slowing down a bit, but still groovin'. You can hear her say "Emma" in the beginning and request Rich to replay the video with "More? More." Enjoy.

History in the Making

We were up at the crack of dawn this morning to be among the first to vote in this historic election (that's why we look so tired). Miss P helped Mommy hold the pen to vote for the B-Man and Daddy snapped a couple pics of the event. Here is a random rally pic and Miss P showing she is too excited about the election to watch any poll numbers rolling in on the tv. Oh, in unrelated news, Mommy finished her dissertation this week and has a defense scheduled for 12/12...keep the faith! This is an exciting week to be sure!

TRICK OR TREAT!

This past Friday marked Miss P's first Halloween where she got to go trick-or-treatin'. She was an Iowa Hawkeye cheerleader (big surprise there). Thankfully the weather here was balmy so she was able to romp freely unencumbered by long johns :) She had pom poms, too! Daddy captured some great pics, including her first trick-or-treat house next door. Our special pumpkins were quite the hit, too.

Grab your popcorn, it is showtime!

After much editing I was able to get this video to a size this blog would accept :) Behold the Feature Presentation: "Raking with Miss P"
